My husband and I always thought our daughter was safe, she was 10 months old, we put her into her cot that night after changing her and woke up in the morning only to find her gone, that was thirty so years ago we now have two other children who are grown up but never forget Lee-Ann nor the fact that we always believed babies to be safe and sound when in reality they can go to sleep and not wake up , but we have our memories of her especially in her pram in the botanic gardens with her face covered in ice-cream and a big gumsy smile .
